Hey, it's Gigi Hadid.
00:09
We're here at Gotham Gym, and I'm about
00:11
to work out with my trainer Rob Piela here in New York.
00:13
Let's go to the ring and get started.
00:17
Boxing's been great for me because it's like my new sport,
00:21
and it's something that I can get better at.
00:24
(energetic music playing)
00:28
♫ We are the energy
00:30
So you wanna keep your hands up at your face,
00:31
obviously, to protect the gold.
00:35
And then you're gonna put your left hand at them.
00:39
It's called a jab.
00:40
And it's usually to keep the distance away from you,
00:43
so you can measure it out to here, and then jab at them.
00:46
And then you're gonna go with the right hand for power.
00:49
So you're gonna go this way for power.
00:53
And there's something called an uppercut, which is this.
00:55
You turn and uppercut.
00:56
That's usually when they get too close to you.
00:58
So, yeah, those are three moves
01:01
that now you know about boxing.
01:05
(energetic music playing)
01:11
When you're boxing, you get so into it mentally
01:14
that you kinda forget what's going on,
01:16
and you forget that you're working out,
01:17
so by the end of the hour, I'm like,
01:20
Wait, we're done?
01:22
You always want more.
